I decided to make this Store to be able to give the many individuals who are deemed invisible to the world a platform to be seen. Often times, if we do not fit into societal norms, we are often overlooked. Whether that may be having darker skin, a fluffy belly or wearing glasses, society loves to depict their version of the "ideal beauty" and convey it to the general population. For that reason, I chose to name this site: UBeauty Kloset which is short for Unconventional Beauty. My goal behind this Store is to make all beauty the norm and give people the confidence to push the boundaries of society in efforts to create a new norm. I will do my absolute best to maintain a judgment free store so that men and women could feel free to step outside of their comfort zone. As an image consultant that is part of my job; however, I want my customers, clients and haters to use my store as a tool or guidance to help them tap into their soul and find their inner confidence and style. I am a firm believer that your style is a reflection of your soul.
Hello UBeauties, I'm Tee. I am 34 years young, a mommy, and new to the retail world. I have a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and an associates’ degree in Administration of Justice. Yes, both of my degrees are non-related to fashion but I believe every plan A should be followed by a plan B. I live and breathe fashion even when I didn't realize I had the "eye" for it. I would always get approached by people on the street complimenting my style. What I am hoping to give to people is a blueprint of how to upgrade ones image. What I am hoping my customers receive from this site is an overall perspective that beauty comes in many different shapes/forms/sizes and we will find what works best for you.
